Meet Dionne
Education & Innovation Consultant
Dionne Clabaugh, EdD is a Human Development specialist who prefers to engage in growing humans through group facilitation, program development, conversations, and authoring. She designs thoughtful learning experiences that promote self-awareness, deep learning, and far transfer for personal and professional development.
She applies a relationship-based approach toward resilience, metacognition, inclusion and dignity across the lifespan. Her approach stems from working with nature and the arts, in youth music and scouting, parenting, high-impact classroom teaching, and university faculty development through mentoring.
Dionne facilitates learning with and for others using high-impact, autonomy-supportive strategies, and believes that engaged learning happens when people invest in each other’s growth.

Her degrees are in Music Therapy, Organization Development, a doctorate in Learning and Instruction (University of San Francisco), and a post-doc diploma in Social Innovation (University for Peace, Costa Rica). She created the Resiliency Bridge™, co-developed the Human Learning System™ instructional framework, and has published works on mentoring in higher education.
